Screen Print Poster

I designed this poster for a Speak Up contest. The entry needed to incorporate a quote from the website. The quote I chose to visually represent flippantly describes the lack of women in the design community despite it being a progressive field. I used a Blackletter typeface and an antique beauty image to illustrate an older feel, while using blocks of popping color to give the poster a retro look. The poster was featured with others in Arizona during a First Fridays event at One Place.
