Recycling, reducing our carbon footprint, ensuring quality of life for future generations – these are topics that should concern everyone and yet don’t. My iBook died in 2007. You can read all about it in my blog posts. From its death came this idea. I wanted to create an artistic but functional project inspired by environmental consciousness that could inspire others to be aware of the damage we are causing Earth. My plan was to convert electronic waste into something functional yet usable, with iPlanter as the beginning of these repurposed technologies.
